2010 U15 US Youth Soccer Washington State Champions
In one of the best youth soccer games this author has seen, Eastside's Boys 15 Red, coached by Dan Strom, battled to a 4-3 victory over Crossfire in the US Youth Soccer Washington State Championship finals. The game was characterized by excellent play on the part of both teams. The score was tied 2-2 at the end of regulation play. It went to 3-3 after two 15 minute periods of overtime. The outcome was decided on the last penalty kick for a 4-3 victory.
This team has won the state championship 4 out of the last 5 years. Quite an achievement to say the least.
