And now a word from the board....
Eastside FC has a busy schedule the next 6 months and we could use help from our membership. It could be a group of people from one team or individuals that would like to help. All efforts are needed and truly appreciated. Here are the opportunities that need your help:
• EFC Family Information Night the week of May 17th. This occurs after tryouts and is an evening for families and their player(s).
• Kick-a-thon 2010 a team of people to organize the club’s main fundraiser
• EFC Parent Night at Garage Billiards…an evening just for parents to meet each other, have some fun bowling, playing pool, shuffle board and view auction items. Bring your friends along too. This event needs a chair and team to start coordinating. The place is secured…Garage Billiards in Seattle.
• Community Service liaison to King County Parks. This individual would work with Laurie Clinton in organizing teams to weed the Preston Park area.
This is a great chance to meet people and get involved in a wonderful club that cares about the kids and their families. Please email me if you would like to help with any of the above events. My contact information is as follows:
wracine@centurytel.net cell phone 206-310-4473.
Thank you for stepping up and making our club the very best it can be!
See you at the fields,
Wendi Racine
